4 easy ways to Regear your Relationship

There comes a point when we get really comfortable in our relationships, we're not going on dates nearly as often or experiencing new and exciting things like we once did in the beginning. We walk around in sweat pants (maybe the girls rock a pony tail or guys, a scruffy face) and wonder why our relationship has gotten a little stale. Life probably kicked in and other things have taken precedence over keeping things fun and interesting. Well before you feel the need to do something irrational, here our a few easy tips that can bring it all back together!

1. Bring back the element of Surprise.Surprises are, sometimes, one of the first things to go after a relationship is fully established. But a good way to add some excitement into your daily routine is to leave a little surprise for your partner. Whether it's cute and thoughtful (card, poem, flowers etc) or something a little sexy (lingerie, sexy note, insert [imagination] here) showing your partner you're thinking about them can take you a long way.

2. Get out of town! Yes, you may live together or see each other everyday but it's a great idea to go somewhere other than the house for a little R&R. If a lavish vacation is out of the question, you can still enjoy the stress-relieving benefits without getting on a plane or having a large expense. Even if it's only for a few days, a change of scenery will help you focus on each other and reconnect.

3.Learn to play again. It's ok to laugh! We seem to forget how to play as we get older. Make a point to be playful with each other. Joke around and have fun. Life doesn't have to always be so serious.

4. Switch it up! It's easy for us to get into our everyday routine--work, gym, pick clothes up from the cleaners, take the kids there (if it applies)yata yata yata. Do something else. Cook together, hang out with new people, be intimate at different times...and even try a different place--do whatever you can to change it up a bit. It may feel strange at first but it could be fun and you'll relaize that change can be a good thing.

Go ahead, try it out. I'm not a love doctor but I've learned a thing or two. There are no guarantees but you'll never know unless you try!

How do YOU clean up after intimate moments? Part 2

The results are in for our Poll: "How do you clean up after intimate moments?"

Participants had a choice of five answers:

1. Toilet Paper or Tissue



2. baby wipes



3. hand towel, sock, curtain, or clothes on the floor



4. Swipes Lovin Wipes



5. Shower

...I promise this is not rigged! But out of 60 participants 36% said they use "Swipes Lovin Wipes", 23% went with "hand towels, socks, curtain, or clothes on the floor" (which is a little unsanitary but hey if that works for you!), 16% take "Showers", another 16% use "Toilet or tissue paper", and last but not least 9% use "Baby wipes." I assume some of those baby wipe users switched over to Swipes Loivn Wipes, which was the smart thing to do I might add!

You know it's time to smell like an adult versus a baby anyway...we're pass that stage!

St. Patricks Day tips

Some 36 million Americans celebrate St. Patrick's day, some with Irish decent and many others who like the color green and drinking beer. A once religious holiday, is now celebrated throughout the world with food, festivities, and everything green. So why all the fuss over this green-wearing-4 leaf clover having-luck-of a day?

Well, beside the obvious--that most people will celebrate anything for an excuse to party, those who are decedents of the Irish, get to be proud of their great heritage!

Without going to in depth, here's a little history:

• St. Patrick is credited for bringing Christianity to Ireland.
• It's said the shamrock was used as a metaphor for the Trinity (Father, son, and holy spirit)
• And green represents-Spring, Shamrocks, and Ireland

St. Patty Tips:

Wear Green!Today is the day for you to wear all the green you want, even if it doesn't match (like I did today) and it's OK! T-shirts, ties, and hats with funny slogans always work. For example "Kiss me, I'm Irish" will be a hit in many pubs today!

And don't forget to accessorize, wear your shamrock pins, beads, and any jewelry that is festive!

Eat Like the Irish!

Do you like corned beef and cabbage? Shepherds Pie?...What about Potatoes (that's about as Irish as it gets!)? Go out and try an Irish dish! (FYI Shepherds Pie is my personal fav!)

Now I'm not 100% sure if green beer comes from Ireland but it goes with the theme of things, so give it a go! And if beer is not your thing, try a green cider, they're pretty good too.
Play the Music:

Ireland has a long history of music. They use such instruments as bagpipes, banjos, fiddles, and harmonicas, and everything else you can think of! If you're really in the spirit of things go out and try to Riverdance...it'll be fun, I dare you!

Activities:

No matter where you live there are bound to be festivities happening all around. You can bet your local Irish pub is having a party. Most cities have parades and block parties, so check it out!

Last but not least, be respectful of the Irish culture!
